Conservation control

The implementation of banker plants promotes the development, proliferation and mobility of natural enemies, enhancing pest control in the affected areas.

ENTOBOX

This is a pot of cereals, approximately 10–12 cm high, inoculated with Rhopalosiphum padi, an aphid specific to cereals such as oats, wheat and barley. So when introduced in horticultural or fruit crops it does not affect these.

ENTOBOX is used to inoculate cereal banker plants for horticultural or fruit crops. These specific aphids can be parasitized (Aphis spp.) or serve as food for other biological control organisms such as Chrysoperla carnea, Aphidoletes spp., various species of hoverflies, Scymnus sp., etc.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  1. Use ENTOBOX as a preventive measure before aphids are present on the farm.
  2. Bearing in mind that ENTOBOX can be divided, distribute the pots evenly among the farm’s banker plants. We recommend planting them in the soil in the centre of the banker, maintaining contact between the leaves of the cereals.
  3. Once they have been properly installed in the banker plants, you can carry out the releases of the biological control organism that you want to install. Then monitor the degree of installation in case a possible reinforcement is required.
  4. Maintain the installation of R. padi through the crop cycles. R.padi a lo largo de los ciclos de cultivo.

DOSE:

  1. Preventive: 5–10 pots/ha every 5–6 weeks.

STORAGE:

The storage temperature is 10–12°C.
